Transaction Flow

The seller sends the item to Mercari's designated authentication center. After authentication, the item is sent to Doorzo from the center, with the shipping fee covered.

Items failed the authentication

If the authentication center finds doubts about the authenticity of the item or discrepancies from its listed condition. In that case, the item will be returned to the seller, and the transaction will be cancelled. The seller will bear the return shipping costs.

The authentication process typically takes 1-3 days (actual timing varies).

 

Important Notes

Service Content and Fees

• Choosing the "Mercari Authenticate" may result in order cancellation if issues are found during authentication. Both the item cost and service fee will be fully refunded.

• This service cannot be cancelled once purchased.

• The "Mercari Authenticate" is an optional paid feature.

 

Regarding Items

• Despite selecting the "Mercari Authenticate," there may be cases where authentication is not feasible.

• The fee will be fully refunded if an item designated for the "Mercari Authenticate" cannot be authenticated.

Example: Products heavily affected by aging or corrosion, related to collaborations, etc.

 

Regarding Delivery

Orders using "Mercari Authenticate" may experience longer warehouse entry times after authentication completion than standard orders.
