To complete your purchase on Doorzo, you will need to go through a two-step payment process. The actual payment amount and currency are based on those shown on the checkout page.

Fee Details

Item Price
The selling price for the item you have chosen.
 
Proxy Purchase Fee
Doorzo charges a proxy purchase fee of 50-300 JPY per item. The fee will be shown in your shopping cart and added to the total cost of your purchase at checkout.
 
JP Domestic Shipping Fee
If your items require payment for domestic shipping, the fee will be added to your order total during the checkout.
 
(*The 'Japan Domestic Shipping COD' fee will be listed as a shipping adjustment upon arrival at our warehouse. It is payable along with the interna- tional shipping fee.)
 
International Shipping Fee
When the items you purchased arrive at Doorzo's Tokyo warehouse, we will calculate the international shipping fee based on the actual weight and your chosen shipping method. Some shipping methods may include a handling fee.

• Basic internal reinforcement
Doorzo will provide extra packaging materials like bubble wrap, foam cushioning, and filling paper to protect fragile items in your package. This service provides a certain level of protection for items like glass and ceramics, but note that these items are not covered by postal compensation due to their fragile
nature.

Strengthening internal reinforcement
Items are individually wrapped with bubble wrap. For orders of 20 or fewer items, each item is separately reinforced. For more than 20 items, multiple items are wrapped individually. Padding is added to all sides of the package to minimize damage during international shipping. This service is highly recommend for fragile items. This service provides a certain level of protection for items like glass and ceramics, but note that these items are not covered by postal compensation due to their fragile nature.

Service Overview
Air columns are used to reinforce the inside of the shipping box, effectively reducing the likelihood of damage due to impact during international transportation. (Please note: Due to the thickness of air columns, using this service may increase the overall package volume.)
 
*Important Reminder*
For fragile items like glass and ceramics, this service can offer a certain level of protection. However, due to the inherently fragile nature of such items, compensation from the postal service will not be available in the event of damage.

Air columns are placed along all four sides inside the shipping box, with the item placed in the center. Filling bubbles are inserted in the gaps to minimize movement. We will select a box of the appropriate size based on the item's dimensions to ensure

* Special Reminders *
1. If no reinforcement service is selected, we will use free-filling materials to fill the gaps between the shipping box and the items to ensure basic protection.
 
2. Doorzo cannot guarantee that all packages and items will remain completely undamaged or free from loss during transportation. If your item is damaged or lost, you may contact the shipping carrier or submit customer ticket for assistance in filing a claim.
 
3. We will do our best to provide protection for fragile and easily damaged items such as glass, ceramics, CD cases, and paper products. However, due to the fragile nature of such items, compensation from the post office or other carriers will not be available. Additionally, damage to product packaging, deformation, crushing, or contamination that does not affect the actual product itself is not covered by compensation.
 
4. This service does not support opening product packaging to reinforce the item inside (e.g., opening a figure box and reinforcing the figure itself).
 
5. If the package volume exceeds the current shipping method's limit after reinforcement, the parcel status will change to "In Warehouse." The international shipping fee and reinforcement service fee that have already been paid will be refunded to the original payment account. You will need to select a new shipping method and reinforcement service, and make a new payment.
 
Related Fees
1. Consolidation Fee: From 0 JPY 
You can consolidate multiple orders into a single shipment. Doorzo offers free consolidation for up to 10 orders.
However, if you have more than 10 orders, a consol- idation fee of 100 JPY will be applied to each order starting from the 11th.
 
2. Shipping Handling Fee: From 0 JPY 
Certain shipping methods may incur handling fees. Please refer to the [International Shipping] section for detailed information on these fees.
 
3. Storage Fee: From 0 JPY 
Single Order
Doorzo offers free storage for 60 days from the day your order arrives at the warehouse and additional paid storage for up to 30 days. Please refer to the fee schedule for specific fees.
 
Note: If an order is not shipped within the specified time, it will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to manage the items at our discretion, and any fees paid will be non-refundable.
 
• Consolidated Orders
Successfully combined packages have a 15-day free storage period, starting upon the completion of con- solidation. If you need more time, we offer an extended paid storage of 30 days (please see the fee schedule). However, please note counting of the extended period starts from your order status changes to "Consolidated / Unpaid postage."
(Note: Normally, once orders are consolidated, the status shows as "Int. shipping pending," with only a few exceptions for packages with specific issues that require counting the storage period.)
 
Note: If an order is not shipped within the specified time, it will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to manage the items at our discretion, and any fees paid will be non-refundable.
 
• Fee Schedule
50 JPY/kg per order each day (24-hour period). If your package weighs less than 1kg, we'll round it up to 1kg. The fee is payable along with your international shipping charges.
 
Single Order
Suppose you have one single order stored for 68 days, with 60 days free of charge and 8 days of paid storage. Here's how the fee is calculated:
 
If the order weighs 650g, the fee would be 8 days x 50 JPY x 1kg = 400 JPY.
 
If the order weighs 1650g, the fee would be 8 days x 50 JPY x 2kg = 800 JPY.
 
Consolidated Orders
Suppose you have a consolidated order stored for 25 days, with 15 days free of charge and 10 days of paid storage. Here's how the fee is calculated:
 
If the order weighs 650g, the fee would be 10 days x 50 JPY x 1kg = 500 JPY.
 
If the order weighs 4500g, the fee would be 10 days x 50 JPY x 5kg = 2500 JPY.
 
• Package Return
We provide free storage for packages returned to our warehouse for 30 days, starting from the day they arrive. Please note that packages returned are not eligible for paid storage services.
 
Note: If the package is not reshipped within the specified storage period, it will be deemed abandoned. Doorzo reserves the right to dispose of the items, and no fees will be refunded.
 
4. Order Splitting: Start from 500JPY 
You can divide an order into multiple packages for international shipping. The service fee is calculated based on the weight of each package, with a mini- mum charge of 500 JPY. However, higher fees may apply for items requiring complex handling, such as bicycles or precision instruments. For further details, please submit a customer ticket.
 
5. Other services 
We offer a custom box service for large or irregularly shaped items that arrive at the warehouse without a shipping box. The service fee starts at 1,000 JPY and will vary depending on the complexity of the packag- ing required.
 
Additional fees may apply for requests like removing certain parts or items from an order or adding custom protective packaging to meet your specific needs. For more information, please create a customer ticket.
 
Request Photo Service
Service fee: 500 JPY
It will be charged along with the international shipping cost. The photo-taking process takes 1-3 working days.
We will provide 6 photos: 4 item photos, 1 external packaging photo, and 1 weighing photo.
Notes:
1. Once the photo is requested, it cannot be cancelled.
2. We cannot specify shooting angles or content, and unopened new items cannot be opened for photography.
3. Cannot request for re-taking photos.
4. The weight shown in the photo does not include packing materials and the invoices.
5. The service is intended to inspect the item's condition only and does not support subsequent requests for confirmation or refunds.

Lithium Battery Verification * Disposal Fee
Electronic products with lithium batteries are often restricted from air shipment. Use sea shipment for items with more than two lithium batteries. Contact customer tickets for air shipment recovery for a few dry or button batteries.Please verify postal regulations before shipping. If unsure about the number of batteries in a package, we offer a service to confirm the quantity and remove them for proper disposal.
 
Manual inspection and handling service fees are as follows:
1. For a single non-consolidated order, the fee is 500 JPY.
2. For consolidated orders, need to confirm the number of batteries in n sub-orders, the handling fee is 500 x n + 300JPY.
3. If the order contains many items with batteries, due to the increased difficulty of manual processing, the fee for handling 10 or more items starts at 800 JPY. For specific fees, please contact our customer tickets.
Notes:
1. After submitting the service request, Doorzo will manually inspect the package. No refund if we find no batteries in the package.
2. Once the process is finished, Doorzo will notify you. The fee will be included in the second payment, which will be paid along with the international shipping fee.
3. Once submitted, requests cannot be cancelled. Please refrain from selecting international shipping or making payments until the operation is complete.
 
Payment Methods
Credit cards, PayPal, and Alipay+ e-wallets are payment options on Doorzo. During checkout, you can choose your preferred payment method.
 
Credit Card
You can use credit cards from various banks with logos like VISA, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, and Diners Club to make payments.
*The billing date for credit card charges is determined by the statement closing date of the credit card company.
 
PayPal
You can shop on Doorzo using PayPal. You can register on the official PayPal website if you have not had PayPal.
*If the country you registered for Doorzo membership and the country of your delivery address differ from the issuing country of your PayPal account, you may not be able to use PayPal for payment.
 
Alipay+
You can make shopping payments through various e-wallets supported by Alipay+.
*Some electronic wallets may be undergoing maintenance; please refer to the actual payment situation.
 
JKOPay
Taiwanese users can now shop with JKO Pay.

Q&A
Q1:The product status shows that it has been refunded, but why is there no actual refund record?
 
Regarding refunds, you can check the refund reason and amount in the order status. For credit card payment orders:
 
Some orders use a pre-authorization system. The bank temporarily freezes the corresponding amount and does not actually deduct the funds. If the order is refunded, the bank will automatically release the held amount. Because the funds were never truly charged, no refund record will appear. The release time depends on each bank's processing speed and may vary.
 
If the payment was actually charged, the refund processing time will depend on your banks refund policies and settlement cycles. In some cases, it may appear on your next billing statement. Please wait patiently while the bank conpletes the process.
 
Q2: Why is there a decuction record even though no purchase or payment was made that day?
 
Because we use a credit card pre-authorization system, the actual posting time of the charge may differ depending on your issuing banks processing schedule. As a result, there may be a discrepancy between the purchase date and the charge appears on your bank statement.
 
Q3: Why does the order show "refunded", but there's an additional deduction instead of a refund in my bank records?
 
Some credit card issuers process refunds by canceling the original transaction and reporting a new one. As a result, your statement may temporarily display two deduction records. However, only one actual charge will be finalized. Please wait for your bank statement to update, or contact your issuing bank for further confirmation.
