This summer, fans of Japanese manga and anime will have the opportunity to step into the vibrant world of PEACH-PIT, as the iconic illustrator duo celebrates their 25th anniversary with a spectacular special exhibition in Harajuku, Tokyo. Hosted at the Tokyu Plaza Harajuku “Harakado” on the fourth floor’s gallery space, the PEACH-PIT 25th Anniversary Special Exhibition is set to run from 18 July to 14 August 2025, marking a significant milestone in the careers of the creators behind such beloved works as Rozen Maiden, Shugo Chara!, ZOMBIE-LOAN, and DearS.
Visitors to the exhibition will be guided through seven themed zones, each offering a unique lens into the works and worlds of PEACH-PIT. Among the highlights are:
Original Art Displays: A comprehensive collection of original colour illustrations from PEACH-PIT’s portfolio, including never-before-seen works from both popular series and rare short stories.
Production Archives: Documents and creative materials detailing the artistic process, from initial concept sketches to finished pages.
Photogenic Installations: Replicas of iconic scenes and character environments from Rozen Maiden and Shugo Chara! have been recreated as photo spots, allowing visitors to step into the story worlds and capture their own memories.
Each zone has been thoughtfully designed to appeal not only to long-time readers, but also to new audiences and casual enthusiasts who may be discovering PEACH-PIT for the first time. It is an invitation to reflect on the depth of storytelling and artistic growth seen over the past 25 years.
