From 8 November 2025, a new range will arrive at Pokémon Centre stores across Japan: the Pokémon Ten Poke Ten Colors Collection. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese phrase 十人十色 (“ten people, ten colours”), which means that everyone is different, the collection transforms it into 十ポケ十色 — “ten Pokémon, ten colours”. It presents beloved characters such as Pikachu and Ditto can be in many different forms.
◆The Concept Behind the Collection
The heart of the Pokémon Ten Poke Ten Colors Collection lies in celebrating individuality. Just as people differ in their personalities, so too do Pokémon. Each product within this range reflects that notion, portraying Pikachu and Ditto through different emotional lenses.
Fans familiar with the Pokémon games will recognise the concept of “natures”, which influence how a Pokémon behaves and grows. This idea has been cleverly adapted into tangible form through design. A “Timid Pikachu”, for instance, appears shy and endearing, while a “Jolly Ditto” conveys joy and movement through a playful pose. Meanwhile, a “Hard-working” Ditto may be shown with determined eyes or a proud stance.

◆The Artist Behind the Designs: Yokomizo Yuri
The creative mind behind the Pokémon Ten Poke Ten Colors Collection is Yokomizo Yuri, an illustrator and character designer. During her time at San-X Co., Ltd., she developed the original concept for the popular Sumikkogurashi series. She now works independently, creating her own line of original characters under the title Nandemo Ikimono.
◆Availability and Ordering Information
The Pokémon Ten Poke Ten Colors Collection will be released on Saturday 8 November 2025 across Pokémon Centre stores in Japan.
For those preferring online purchases, the Pokémon Centre Online store will begin offering the items from Thursday 6 November 2025 at 10:00 a.m. (Japan Standard Time).
