A new Happy Kuji lottery collaboration with Sanrio will be available from Saturday, 6 December 2025, at selected Lawson, FamilyMart, and Mini Stop stores, as well as at bookstores and hobby shops across Japan.
◆Holiday Season Collaboration
The 2025 edition of the Happy Kuji x Sanrio collaboration adopts the theme “Holiday Collection”. Each participating character has been drawn in a new design created for this release, using a consistent navy, white, and gold colour palette. The visual style aligns with the atmosphere of the winter season, avoiding overt festive imagery in favour of subtle coordination and consistency across the set.
The featured line-up consists of ten Sanrio characters, including Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and Pom Pom Purin. Notably, Hanamaru Obake makes its first Happy Kuji appearance. Several characters mark significant milestones this year, with My Melody celebrating her 50th anniversary and Kuromi her 20th anniversary.
◆How does Happy Kuji work?
Happy Kuji operates as a ticket-based lottery in which each ticket guarantees a prize. Prizes are categorised from A to H, plus a special Last Prize awarded to the purchaser of the final ticket at each location. The structure encourages collection and repeat participation, as each prize offers a different type of product, and all designs are exclusive to this release.
Each ticket is priced at ¥850 (tax included), and all items are produced specifically for this lottery.
None of the prizes will be sold separately.
◆Prize Line-Up
The Sanrio Characters Holiday Collection comprises nine main prize tiers, each focusing on a different product category, from collectable figures to practical goods.
A Prize – Figures (10 types)
The A Prize includes ten figures, one for each featured character. The designs share a consistent appearance based on the navy, white, and gold theme. Each figure is presented with gold-painted accessories and detailed finishing.Size: approximately 5.5–8 cm in height.
B Prize – Plush Charms (5 types)
The B Prize features soft plush charms with attached keychains, suitable for use on bags or for display.Size: approximately 14 cm in height.
C Prize – Gift Pouches (4 types)
The C Prize consists of medium-sized pouches that can be used for everyday storage or as small gifts. Each pouch is finished with a ribbon detail and zip closure.Size: 19 cm (H) × 25 cm (W) × 9 cm (D).
D Prize – Canisters (10 types)
This prize features small containers, each displaying one of the Sanrio characters. The canisters are designed for storing small items or accessories.Size: 10 cm (diameter) × 11 cm (height).
E Prize – Acrylic Charms (10 types)
Each acrylic charm in the E Prize set displays a marble-like finish and a printed illustration of one of the participating characters.Size: within 7 cm square.
F Prize – Badge Sets (5 types)
The F Prize provides sets of round badges with holographic finishes. These can be used for decoration or collection.Diameter: 5.6 cm.
G Prize – Multi-Cases (10 types)
Compact cases suitable for small accessories or cosmetics. Each includes a keychain for carrying convenience.Size: 12 cm (H) × 8 cm (W).
H Prize – Mini Case with Sticker Set (5 types)
Each set includes a small storage case and a matching sticker sheet. The case can also be used for keeping small documents or tickets.Sticker: 7 cm square / Mini Case: 10 cm (H) × 18.5 cm (W).
Special Prizes
In addition to the standard prize tiers, the Holiday Collection features two large plush items available only through this promotion.
Grand Prize – BIG! Kuromi Plush
A 40 cm plush toy of Kuromi in her new Holiday Collection attire. The item serves as the main highlight of the series and is exclusive to this release.
Last Prize – BIG! Cinnamoroll Plush
Awarded to the customer who draws the final ticket at a store, the Last Prize is a 40 cm plush of Cinnamoroll, produced to the same scale as the Grand Prize.
Both plushes are exclusive to the Happy Kuji lottery and will not be available through retail sales.

Tickets will be available from 6 December 2025 across Japan, priced at ¥850 each (tax included).
