Do parcels shipped to Taiwan need to be confirmed through EZ WAY?
Starting from March 1, 2026, Taiwan will fully implement the mandatory "Pre-Confirmed Authorization" system.
For overseas parcels imported under an individual's name, the recipient must complete the "Pre-Authorization Confirmation" through the EZ WAY app before the parcel can proceed with customs declaration and import clearance.
If the pre-authorization is not completed, the following issues may occur:
- The parcel may be unable to clear customs.
- Delivery may be delayed.
- In serious cases, the parcel may be returned to the sender.
This regulation applies to all shipping methods and is not limited to any specific carrier.
Please make sure to complete EZ WAY registration and real-name verification in advance. Also, please enter the recipient's name in your Doorzo shipping address exactly as it appears in your EZ WAY real-name verification information to ensure smooth customs clearance and delivery.
