AmiAmi has begun exclusive pre-orders for a new 1/6 scale figure of Chizuru Mizuhara from the anime Kanojo, Okarishimasu. It is scheduled for launch in March 2026 and available for advance reservation through AmiAmi’s online and physical stores.
◆About the Series
Kanojo, Okarishimasu is a romantic comedy written by Reiji Miyajima and published in Weekly Shōnen Magazine since 2017. The story follows university student Kazuya Kinoshita and his experiences with rental girlfriend Chizuru Mizuhara. Blending light humour with emotional depth, it explores the line between convenience and genuine affection.
The manga’s popularity has remained strong through its ongoing television adaptation and active fan community. Recently, it has gained renewed attention after Chapter 382, where Kazuya’s heartfelt confession to Chizuru at Odaiba and her response sparked significant discussion among readers.
After the release of Chizuru Mizuhara Maid Bikini Cleaning Ver. in August 2025, fans wanted to see more versions of Chizuru, especially one showing her from the front. In response, Hakoiri Musume introduced the Maid Bikini Changing Ver., featuring her as she gets ready in her room.
The figure’s concept focuses on a quieter, more personal moment rather than a posed or stylised scene. The setting represents part of Chizuru’s dressing area, complete with familiar touches from the anime. Collectors will notice the laundry basket, floor mat and the series’ signature sliding bathroom door. The door is moveable, allowing display at different angles. Inside the basket lies a Santa-themed bikini, a playful reference to a previous episode.

◆Design and Features
The Maid Bikini outfit was designed specifically for this release. It is not based on any existing costume from the series. The design features fine frill detailing and a removable apron. The sculpt aims to keep the clothing natural and comfortable rather than ornamental.
The room base has been recreated from anime references to reflect Chizuru’s living space. Though simple, it feels authentic and familiar. Stainless steel supports inside the figure improve durability, reducing the risk of leaning over time.
At around 26 centimetres tall, this figure has presence without requiring much display space. It follows the same scale as the previous release, allowing collectors to display the two figures side by side for a cohesive look.
◆Production and Quality
Hakoiri Musume is known for portraying everyday character moments with care. The production team aimed to preserve Chizuru’s calm expression and gentle movement, reflecting her personality as shown in the anime. The paintwork uses a matte finish for the skin and hair to avoid glare.
Each part is made with multiple materials for strength and stability. PVC forms the main structure, ABS adds rigidity, PC is used for transparent components and stainless steel reinforces the interior. This combination ensures long-term stability and prevents discolouration.
Based on feedback from the 2025 figure, the new release features improved assembly, especially in the removable apron and adjustable door design. Both parts were re-engineered to handle repeated adjustments without damage.
