Have you ever watched an anime and thought, 'That character is so me'? If so, you're not alone. Many people have felt the same way, and now, thanks to the MBTI, we can compare our own psychological profiles with those of fictional characters.

In this article, we’ll be diving into two contrasting MBTI types: the strategic and stoic INTJ versus the spirited and spontaneous ENFP. If you’re unsure where you fall, let these beloved anime characters be your guide.

INTJ

INTJs are known as “the Architects” or “the Strategists”. They’re logical, focused on the future, and love solving problems and making plans. They might seem a bit distant at first, but deep down, they care deeply about their goals and the people close to them.

Take Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto for instance. Cool-headed, analytical, and often misunderstood, Sasuke perfectly encapsulates the INTJ archetype. His relentless pursuit of strength and justice in his own termsreflects the INTJ’s dedication to personal vision and growth.

Another iconic INTJ is Mamoru Chiba from Sailor Moon. Though he rarely wears his heart on his sleeve, Mamoru is unfailingly supportive of Usagi, his ENFP counterpart. He’s thoughtful and mature, often providing calm in the face of Usagi’s whirlwind of feelings.

Characters like Loid Forger (Spy x Family) and Lelouch vi Britannia (Code Geass) also fit this mould. Both are calculated thinkers navigating high-stakes environments, often manipulating scenarios like chessboards. Their reserved exteriors conceal a fierce commitment to their goals—be it protecting their loved ones or reshaping the world.

INTJs might not be the loudest or most emotional people, but they’re often the ones quietly making things happen behind the scenes. If you like working on your own, thinking ahead, and having a clear plan, you might be more like an INTJ than you think.

ENFP

Now let’s look at the other side with ENFPs, often called “the Campaigners” or “the Inspirers”. They’re full of energy, love connecting with others, and are guided by what they believe in. ENFPs are the kind of people who brighten up a room with their excitement and big ideas.

Naruto Uzumaki is a classic ENFP. He’s super positive, full of determination, and wears his heart on his sleeve. He jumps into life with courage and passion, and even though he can be a bit all over the place, there’s real purpose behind his energy.

Usagi Tsukino from Sailor Moon is another great example of an ENFP. She’s kind, caring, and a bit clumsy, which makes her easy to relate to and love. Even if she doesn’t always know what to do, her big heart and loyalty to her friends help her get through anything.

Other ENFPs are Anya Forger from Spy x Family, a sweet and clever telepath, and Euphemia from Code Geass, who believes deeply in peace and hopes for a better world, even in the middle of chaos.

Even in darker stories, like with Enoshima Junko from Danganronpa, an ENFP who becomes a villain, you can still see the ENFP traits: strong emotions, quick thinking, and intense passion. Whether they’re heroes or not, ENFPs always stand out.

ENFPs vs INTJs

So what happens when these two personalities meet? ENFPs go with their feelings and act on the moment, while INTJs like to think things through and plan ahead. Sometimes they make a great team, other times they might clash big time.

So, Which One Are You?
