The statue captures the essence of Gabimaru, the once-legendary assassin of the Iwagakure clan, as he fights his way through the otherworldly perils of Shinsenkyo in his quest for the Elixir of Life—and a reunion with his beloved wife. Sculpted in the midst of his iconic “Fire Monk” ninjutsu, the figure embodies both motion and emotion, perfectly reflecting the brutal beauty and spiritual core of the Hell’s Paradise universe.

Crafted at 1/4 scale, the piece stands a commanding 62cm tall, 45cm wide, and 42cm deep. With a total weight of 12.6kg, the statue offers an imposing yet balanced presence that’s well-suited for display in dedicated collections or gallery-like settings.

The dynamic composition employs a diagonal axis to position Gabimaru and his infernal opponent—Kagutsuchi, the fire deity—locked in battle. Whirls of flame and blood frame the scene, contrasting Gabimaru’s mid-air grace with Kagutsuchi’s halted, almost petrified menace. This duality—motion versus stillness—evokes the harsh reality of mortal combat, underscoring the sacrifice and survival at the heart of Gabimaru’s journey.

His flowing silver hair, wiry physique, and fiercely determined expression are rendered with extraordinary fidelity, drawing inspiration directly from the anime’s visual style. The painters at Prime 1 Studio have paid obsessive attention to detail, from the subtle gradation in Gabimaru’s skin tone to the intricate light reflection in his eyes—each element crafted to convey his hidden vulnerability and steely resolve.

Gabimaru’s traditional shinobi attire is sculpted to simulate fabric tension, folds, and movement. The garment is further enhanced with realistic lighting effects that mimic the glow of surrounding flames. This not only adds depth and dimensionality to the piece, but also amplifies the drama of the scene.

Kagutsuchi, Gabimaru’s supernatural adversary, is equally well represented. The texture of his skin, alien and coarse, stands in eerie contrast to his lifeless face—imbuing the statue with an uncanny presence that lingers in the viewer’s mind. These elements are complemented by a base inspired by Shinsenkyo, the mysterious island where life, death, and mythology intertwine.

The display base is more than mere structural support—it’s an extension of the Hell’s Paradise narrative itself. Moss-covered ancient trees, brilliantly coloured toxic flora, grotesquely oversized centipedes, and partially transformed human flora serve as visceral reminders of the island’s dark secrets and supernatural oddities.

Every aspect of the base design has been developed with storytelling in mind. The contrasts between natural beauty and grotesque mutation reflect the dual nature of the setting: a paradise on the surface, a nightmare at its roots. Fans of the anime will instantly recognise these details and appreciate how the sculptors have translated Shinsenkyo’s surreal landscape into physical form.

Bonus Edition Exclusive: Masked Head and Display Stand

The Bonus Version of this statue includes exclusive additional components that enhance both the display options and overall collectibility of the piece. Notably, it features an alternative masked head with a stern, piercing gaze—a nod to Gabimaru’s combat-ready persona. Also included is a separate head stand, allowing collectors to display both versions of Gabimaru’s likeness side-by-side or independently, depending on their preferred presentation.

These extras not only increase the statue’s play value, but also elevate it from a static figure to a modular showpiece—offering versatility in display and added value for fans who seek something beyond the ordinary.
