‘Nintama Rantarō’ Official Shop Arrives in Osaka

Benelic Co., Ltd. is bringing the beloved anime Nintama Rantarō to life through a limited-time official pop-up store. Titled “Ninjutsu Academy Nintama Kōbaibu,” the store will open from Wednesday, 9th April to Sunday, 25th May 2025 at the iconic Daimaru Shinsaibashi department store in Osaka. For fans of the series — whether long time devotees or first-time fans — this event promises to be a light-hearted celebration of all things Nintama, with exclusive merchandise, themed décor, photo opportunities, and purchase incentives designed to engage customers and leave a lasting impression.

The Nintama Kōbaibu pop-up store appeals not only to children but also to adults who grew up watching the series and are now revisiting it with a fresh perspective—or even introducing it to the next generation.

Situated on the 9th floor of Daimaru Shinsaibashi’s main building, the pop-up shop is more than just a place to purchase themed goods — it’s designed to feel like an extension of the Nintama Rantarō universe. Themed decorations, inspired by the fictional Ninjutsu Academy, adorn the shop’s interior, and photo spots featuring popular characters encourage fans to take pictures with their favourite ninja trainees.

Two standout items launching on 9th April are the American comic-style tote bags and the Sagara embroidery tote bags — each available in three variants based on the school years (Year 1 + Doi-sensei, Year 5, and Year 6).

This limited edition item is not available for separate purchase and will be distributed only while stocks last! 

It’s worth noting that the in-store benefits apply only at the Daimaru Shinsaibashi location. That said, Benelic is also launching the new tote bags on the same day (9th April) at 10:00 AM JST through NHK Character Shop branches and the NHK Character Shop Tokyo official online store. 

Riding the Wave of Demand: Nintama Rantarō Acrylic Stands Return for Fans

Another great news for fans is that Benelic is reintroducing the Nintama Rantarō acrylic stand collection — all 86 types — made available for re-order in response to fan demand. Whether it’s nostalgia, character obsession, or the thrill of collecting, these stands have proven to be extremely popular! 

Each acrylic figure retails between ¥1,650 and ¥2,200 (depending on the character), and sizes vary slightly from 70mm x 145mm to 100mm x 190mm.

The entire lineup is available through Animate’s online store until 23:59 on 17th April 2025, giving fans a two-week window to make their selections!

What’s particularly interesting here is the sheer breadth of the character roster — from household names like Rantarō, Kirimaru, and Shinbei, to more obscure favourites like Heidaya, Kagemaro, and even background characters.
