Starting April 11th, 2025, the fifth floor of Daimaru Umeda in Osaka will transform into a Gundam paradise as it welcomes THE GUNDAM BASE POP-UP WORLD TOUR in OSAKA for a limited time only. Running until October 13th, this exciting event marks the largest Gundam Base pop-up in Kansai history, and it’s packed with exclusive merch, immersive experiences, and plenty of surprises.
The Gundam Base Pop-Up in Osaka
Spanning an impressive 923 square metres, this isn’t your average merch booth. Think of it more like an one floored theme park for Gundam lovers. Fans can expect shelves lined with Gundam plastic models, exclusive apparel, stationery, snacks, collectibles, and more. It is also important to mention that there will be massive 2-metre tall Gundam statue that will be towering over the space and an in-store video screen to deliver cinematic Gundam experiences like never before.
This pop-up also serves as the kick-off location for the “GUNDAM BASE POP-UP WORLD TOUR,” a global celebration of Gundam plastic models’s 45th anniversary, hitting major cities around the world. And there’s more—this Osaka event is perfectly timed to ride the excitement building around the upcoming GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION at Expo 2025 in Osaka–Kansai and the pop-up store will act as an international gathering point for fans new and old.
